STOP PRESS: COMPETITION TO FIND NEW SOUTH-WEST WRITING TALENT
We are hunting for the best new writers from Cornwall and the South West to take to the Port Eliot Literary Festival, where we will be hosting a tent showcasing writing talent from the South-West region.
How to enter: submit a play for two people, up to ten minutes in duration, on the theme 'The West'. Script entries will be shortlisted and directed by Miracle Theatre’s Artistic Director, Bill Scott. The most popular will be developed for performance by professional actors on the final day of the festival, and the writers will win tickets to see their work performed. Miracle Theatre has been touring innovative comic theatre – new writing and fresh adaptations - across the UK for over 30 years, and is one of Cornwall's most distinctive voices.
Submit entries by clicking on the Current Competitions menu at the top of the page. Or email your script direct to susannah.marriott@falmouth.ac.uk
