Hi, I’m David; I’m 22 and my passion is fiction. I wrote my first novel at 16 and will one day complete the 2nd draft. I've been writing pieces ever since, short stories, poetry and have once again recently embarked on writing a novel.
I come from Stoke-on-Trent, a post-industrial city between Birmingham and Manchester where they used to make Wedgwood and Doulton before they all moved abroad, just to give you some local background. I studied Media Arts at Royal Holloway University (that’s near Windsor) with my major component in Screenwriting before moving back to Stoke because I couldn’t afford to live near London. There, years of demeaning retail (Tesco, W.H.Smith, Alton Towers) held me in good stead and I was employed as an Oxfam Bookstore Manager where I naturaly read lots of books.
Now in Falmouth I hope to dedicate my career path to writing and change all my odd bits of prose and started novels into hard cash.
