The first competition following our relaunch was  based on the theme New Beginnings. All of us at bloc would like to congratulate the winner, Tom 'Bowie' Bowman, for his story A Walk In The Darkness. Our judge, award-winning author Simon Van Booy, described it as "an understated yet extremely powerful narrative", and we can't help but agree.
